Messiah יהושע’s disciples asked him: “Say to us, when shall this be (the destruction of the temple), and what is the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?” ~Matthew 24:3b SIGN OF HIS COMING AND THE END OF THE AGE… And יהושע answering, said to them, “Take heed that no one leads you astray. “For many shall come in My Name, saying, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and they shall lead many astray. ~Matthew 24:4, 5 Interestingly the “MANY” are professing believers in the Messiah and come in His Name, but shall lead many astray. The Apostle Paul mentioned the same thing in 2 Thessalonians 2:1-4: “As to the coming of our Master יהושע Messiah and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, brothers, not to become easily unsettled in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as if the day of יהוה has come. Let no one deceive you in any way, because the falling away is to come first, and the man of lawlessness is to be revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called Elohim or that is worshipped, so that he sits as Elohim in the Dwelling Place of Elohim, showing himself that he is Elohim.” Let’s focus in on: “Let no one deceive you in any way, because THE FALLING AWAY IS TO COME FIRST,” Let’s look closer at “THE FALLING AWAY”: Strong’s G646 apostasia = forsake, falling away, defection, and apostasy! What’s Interesting is that Strong’s G646 apostasia is only used twice in the Scriptures and the second usage is quite telling… So what is the destiny of the MANY apostates, who forsake Moses (Torah), and lead many astray?
MESSIAH’S WORDS “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Master, Master,’ shall enter into the reign of the heavens, but he who is doing the desire of My Father in the heavens.“MANY shall say to Me in that day, ‘Master, Master, have we not prophesied in Your Name, and cast out demons in Your Name, and done many mighty works in Your Name?’ “And then I shall declare to them, ‘I never knew you, depart from Me, you who work lawlessness!’ ~Matthew 7:21-23

“From that time יהושע began to show to His taught ones that it was necessary for Him to go to Yerushalayim, and to suffer much from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and to be raised againthe third day.” ~Matthew 16:21
There are many Scriptures that mention… Messiah being raised up the 3rd Day! This 3rd Day prophecy should not be confused with the 3 Days and 3 Nights prophecy, which is a distinct prophecy… However, both the 3rd Day prophecy and the 3 Days and 3 Nights prophecyconcluded on the same day: Sabbath!!! If you keep the Feast the 3rd Day becomes obvious! “On the fourteenth day of the first month between the evenings is the Passover of יהוה.” ~Leviticus 23:5 So does Passover start the evening beginning the 14th or evening beginning the 15th? Once we realize the Passover and Unleavened Bread comprise of an 8 Day Festival… …and that Passover starts at Sunset… …then it’s pretty to easy to determine from Renewed Covenant Writings when Messiah Kept the Passover! We know Messiah died sometime after the 9th hour, which was approximately 3 hours before the High Sabbath! The High Sabbath in question is obviously the First Day of Unleavened Bread, which is Day 15 / Month 1. This is also mentioned in the Torah: “Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread. Indeed on the first day you cause leaven to cease from your houses. For whoever eats leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that being shall be cut off from Yisrael. ‘And on the first day is a set-apart gathering, and on the seventh day you have a set-apart gathering. No work at all is done on them, only that which is eaten by every being, that alone is prepared by you.” ~Exodus 12:15, 16 “And on the fifteenth day of this month is the Festival of Unleavened Bread to יהוה – seven days you eat unleavened bread. ‘On the first day you have a set-apart gathering, you do no servile work. ‘And you shall bring an offering made by fire to יהוה for seven days. On the seventh day is a set-apart gathering, you do no servile work.’ ” And יהוה spoke to Mosheh, saying, “Speak to the children of Yisrael, and you shall say to them, ‘When you come into the land which I give you, and shall reap its harvest, then you shall bring a sheaf of the first-fruits of your harvest to the priest. ‘And he shall wave the sheaf before יהוה, for your acceptance. On the morrow after the Sabbath the priest waves it.” ~Leviticus 23:6-11 Notice how the Scripture calls Day 15 / Month 1, the first day of the of Unleavened Bread a Sabbath, you do no servile work. (This will be important to know later on for understanding the Resurrection of Messiah) So it is clear from the Scriptures Messiah died on Passover Day (Day 14 / Month 1) approximately 3 hours before the High Sabbath (Day 15 / Month 1). Now if we back up to the start of Day 14 / Month 1 it becomes obvious when Messiah and His Disciples Kept the Passover. Again it is important to remember that Hebrew Day go from: -Evening to Night to Morning to Day- Let’s go to the Scripture and See When Messiah יהושע Kept the Passover! Matthew’s Account: “And on the first day of Unleavened Bread the taught ones came to יהושע, saying to Him,Where do You wish us to prepare for You to eat the Passover?” ~Mattehw 26:17 ***Note: Remember Passover and Unleavened Bread when combined make for a 8 Day Festival. Passover is the first day of the 8 Days that we eat unleavened bread. Let’s Continue… “And He said, “Go into the city to a certain man, and say to him, ‘The Teacher says, “My time is near. I am to observe the Passover at your house with My taught ones.” And the taught ones did as יהושע had ordered them, and prepared the Passover.” ~Matthew 26:17-19 Questions: Was Messiah telling the truth? Did He really observe the Passover? Did his taught ones really prepare the Passover? “And when evening came, He sat down with the twelve. And while they were eating, He said, “Truly, I say to you, one of you shall deliver Me up.”… ~Matthew 26:20, 21 “And as they were eating, יהושע took bread, and having blessed, broke and gave it to the taught ones and said, “Take, eat, this is My body.” ~Matthew 26:26 Statement/Questions: Some want to argue that the word for bread “artos” always means “leavened bread” (although not true), many of these individuals really haven’t fully thought this through… Are you saying Messiah took Leavened Bread and said “This is My Body”? Doesn’t “Leaven” represent sin and false teachings…? Doesn’t “Unleavened Bread” represent sincerity and truth…? Are you sure Messiah compared His Body to “Leavened Bread”…? “And taking the cup, and giving thanks, He gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. “For this is My blood, that of the renewed covenant, which is shed for many for the forgiveness of sins. “But I say to you, I shall certainly not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on till that day when I drink it anew with you in the reign of My Father.” ~Matthew 26:27-29 Key Points: 1) “Where do You wish us to prepare for You to eat the Passover?” 2) “I am to observe the Passover at your house with My taught ones.” 3) “And the taught ones did as יהושע had ordered them, and prepared the Passover.” Mark’s Account: “And on the first day of Unleavened Bread, when they were slaughtering the Passover lamb, His taught ones said to Him, Where do You wish us to go and prepare, for You to eat the Passover?” And He sent out two of His taught ones and said to them, “Go into the city, and there a man bearing a jar of water shall meet you, follow him. “And wherever he enters, say to the master of the house, ‘The Teacher says, “Where is the guest room in which I am to eat the Passover with My taught ones?” “And he shall show you a large upper room, furnished, ready. Prepare for us there.” And His taught ones went out and came into the city, and found it as He said to them, and they prepared the Passover.” ~Mark 14:12-16 Notice again the first day of “Unleavened Bread” is a reference to The WHOLE 8 Days of Unleavened Bread (See picture above). The first day is Passover. In Mark’s account he adds, “when they were slaughtering the Passover lamb.” “And evening having come, He came with the twelve. And as they sat and ate, יהושע said, “Truly, I say to you, one of you who is eating with Me shall deliver Me up.” ~Mark 14:17, 18 “And as they were eating, יהושע took bread, having blessed, broke it, gave it to them and said, “Take, eat, this is My body.” And taking the cup, giving thanks, He gave it to them, and they all drank from it. And He said to them, “This is My blood, that of the renewed covenant, which is shed for many.“Truly, I say to you, I shall certainly no more drink of the fruit of the vine till that day when I drink it anew in the reign of Elohim.” ~Mark 14:22-25 Key Points: 1. “When they were slaughtering the Passover lamb” 2. “Where do You wish us to go and prepare, for You to eat the Passover?” 3. ‘The Teacher says, “Where is the guest room in which I am to eat thePassover with My taught ones?” 4. “And found it as He said to them, and they prepared the Passover.” 5. “And as they sat and ate“ Luke’s Account: “And the Festival of Unleavened Bread drew near, which is called Passover.” ~Luke 22:1 ***I’ve mentioned it multiple times now, but it is critically important to understand that Passover & Unleavened Bread together make an 8 Day Festival, if you don’t get that truth, you will never understand the correct timing of Passover. “And the Day of Unleavened Bread came when the Passover had to be slaughtered. And He sent Kepha (Peter) and Yahucanan (John), saying, “Go and prepare the Passover for us to eat.” And they said to Him, “Where do You wish us to prepare?” And He said to them, “See, as you enter into the city, a man shall meet you carrying a jar of water. Follow him into the house he enters. “And you shall say to the master of the house, ‘The Teacher says to you, “Where is the guest room where I might eat the Passover with My taught ones?” “And he shall show you a large, furnished upper room. Prepare it there.” And going they found it as He had said to them, and they prepared the Passover. And when the hour had come, He sat down, and the twelve emissaries with Him. And He said to them, “With desire I have desired to eat this Passover with you before My suffering, for I say to you, I shall certainly not eat of it again until it is filled in the reign of Elohim.” ~Luke 22:7-16 Key Points: 1. “Festival of Unleavened Bread drew near, which is called Passover.” 2. “the Day of Unleavened Bread came when the Passover had to be slaughtered.” That is Day 14 / Month 1 between the evenings: “On the fourteenth day of the first month between the evenings is the Passover of יהוה.” ~Leviticus 23:5 “And you shall keep it (Passover lamb) until the fourteenth day of the same month. Then all the assembly of the congregation of Yisrael shall kill it between the evenings.” ~Exodus 12:6 (by the way, there is NOT a Single Scriptural reference whatsoever that Passover “occurred” on Day 15 / Month 1, no not one!) Question: What Day and When did the Passover have to be slaughtered? Question: When does a Day begin? 3. “And He sent Kepha (Peter) and Yahucanan (John), saying, “Go and prepare the Passover for us to eat.” 4. ‘The Teacher says to you, “Where is the guest room where I might eat the Passover with My taught ones?” 5. “And going they found it as He had said to them, and they prepared the Passover.” 6. “With desire I have desired to eat this Passover with you before My suffering, for I say to you, I shall certainly not eat of it again until it is filled in the reign of Elohim.” So far, we have covered 14 Direct References to Passover being Kept byMessiah and His disciples at the beginning of Day 14 / Month 1! John’s Account: Note 1: Many people “think” the meal of John 13:1-32 refers to the night that Messiah was delivered up (The night of Day 14). However, the Scripture clearly states: “And BEFORE the Festival of the Passover, יהושעknowing that His hour had come that He should move out of this world unto the Father, having loved His own who were in the world, He loved them to the end. And supper taking place…,” ~John 13:1, 2a The Events John 13:1-32 actually took place on the evening of Day 13 / Month 1, one day BEFORE Passover on Day 14 / Month 1. (For More information on that click on the picture below) Note 2: According to the Scripture (Luke 22:7) it was Peter and John who went to “prepare the Passover.” This shows from the Scripture John kept the Passover at the beginning of Day 14 / Month 1! Note 3: History also tells us that John kept the Passover on Day 14 / Month 1.! Note 4: In John 18:28 it is written: “Then they led יהושע from Qayapha to the palace, and it was early. And they themselves did not go into the palace, lest they should be defiled, but that they might eat the Passover.” ~John 18:28 The priest did not want to go into the palace, to avoid “the defilement of the dead.” “He who touches the dead of any human being is unclean for seven days.” ~Numbers 19:11 “But there were certain men, who were unclean by the dead body of a man, so that they could not keep the Passover on that day; and they came before Moses and before Aaron on that day.” ~Numbers 9:6 (JPS Tankh 1917) “Speak unto the children of Israel, saying: If any man of you or of your generations shall be unclean by reason of a dead body, or be in a journey afar off, yet he shall keep the Passover unto יהוה ; in the second month on the fourteenth day between the evenings they shall keep it; they shall eat it with unleavened bread and bitter herbs; they shall leave none of it unto the morning, nor break a bone thereof; according to all the statute of the Passover they shall keep it. ~Numbers 9:10-12 The Phrase, “That they might eat the Passover“ refers to the “chagigah”or the “additional Passover” sacrifice during the day portion of Day 14 / Month 1. So we can see from the accounts Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John that Messiah and His Disciples ate the Passover at the beginning of Day 14 / Month 1. For More Information regarding The Appointed Times

“Your boasting is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the entire lump? Therefore cleanse out the old leaven, so that you are a new lump, as you are unleavened. For also Messiah our Passover was offered for us. So then Let Us Observe (Keep) The Festival, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of evil and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.” ~1 Corinthians 5:6-8 This is one of many examples of Shaul Teaching Torah! Let Us Keep The Feast in Sincerity and Truth! Coming Soon… (((A Verse by Verse Commentary On the Book of Galatians!))) “Speak to all the congregation of Yisrael, saying, ‘On the tenth day of this month each one of them is to take for himself a lamb, according to the house of his father, a lamb for a household. ‘Let the lamb be a perfect one, a year old male. Take it from the sheep or from the goats. ~Exodus 12:3, 5 “He was led as a lamb to the slaughter” ~Isaiah 54:7b “though being a Son, He learned obedience by what He suffered. And having been perfected, He became the Causer of everlasting deliverance to all those obeying Him,” ~Hebrews 5:8, 9 “A refining pot is for silver and a furnace for gold, But יהוה tries the hearts. ~Proverbs 17:3 The Words of יהוה are clean Words,
Silver tried in a furnace of earth, Refined SEVEN TIMES. ~Psalm 12:6 1) JUDAS “Then Yahudah (Judas) – he who delivered Him up – having seen that He had been condemned, repented, returned the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and to the elders, saying, “I have sinned in delivering up innocent blood.” And they said, “What is that to us? You see to it!” ~Matthew 27:3, 4 2) PILATE And when Pilate saw that he was getting nowhere, but rather an uproar was starting, he took water and washed his hands before the crowd, saying, “I am innocent of the blood of this Righteous One. You shall see to it.”~Matthew 27:24 3) HEROD And Pilate, having called together the chief priests and the rulers and the people, said to them, “You brought this Man to me, as one who turns away the people. And look, I have examined Him in your presence and have found no guilt in this Man regarding the charges which you make against Him, and neither did Herodes, for I sent you back to him. And look, He has done none at all deserving death. ~Luke 23:13-15 4) THE CHIF PRIESTS AND THE ELDERS And when He had come into the Set-apart Place, the chief priests and the elders of the people came to Him as He was teaching, and said, “By what authority are You doing these? And who gave You this authority?” 5) QAYAPHA (CAIAPHAS) THE HIGH PRIEST “And one of them, Qayapha, being high priest that year, said to them, “You know naught, neither do you consider that it is better for us that one man die for the people than that the entire nation should perish.” But he did not say this from himself, but being high priest that year he prophesiedthat יהושע was about to die for the nation, and not for the nation only, but to gather together into one the children of Elohim who were scattered abroad.” ~John 11:49-52 6) THE CENTURION “And when the captain and those with him, who were guarding יהושע, saw the earthquake and all that took place, they feared exceedingly, saying, “Truly this was the Son of Elohim!” ~Matthew 27:54 7) THE REPENTANT THIEF “And one of the evil-doers who were hanged, was speaking evil of Him, saying, “If You are the Messiah, save Yourself and us.” But the other, responding, rebuked him, saying, “Do you not even fear Elohim, since you are under the same judgment? “And we, indeed, rightly so, for we receive the due reward of our deeds, but this One has done no wrong.” And he said to יהושע, “Master, remember me when You come into Your reign.” And יהושעsaid to him, “Truly, I say to you today, you shall be with Me in Paradise.”~Luke 23:39-43 “For we do not have a High Priest unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who was tried in all respects as we are, apart from sin.” ~Hebrews 4:15 “knowing that you were redeemed from your futile way of life inherited from your fathers, not with what is corruptible, silver or gold, but with the precious blood of Messiah, as of a lamb unblemished and spotless, foreknown, indeed, before the foundation of the world, but manifested in these last times for your sakes, who through Him believe in Elohim who raised Him from the dead and gave Him esteem, so that your belief and expectation are in Elohim. Now that you have cleansed your lives in obeying the truth through the Spirit to unfeigned brotherly love, love one another fervently with a clean heart, having been born again – not of corruptible seed, but incorruptible – through the living Word of Elohim, which remains forever, because “All flesh is as grass, and all the esteem of man as the flower of the grass. The grass withers, and its flower falls away, but the Word of Elohim remains forever.” And this is the Word, announced as Good News to you.” ~1 Peter 1:18-25 “Guard the month of Abib and perform the Passover to יהוה your Elohim, for in the month of Abib יהוה your Elohim brought you out of Egypt by night.”
~Deuteronomy 16:1 “And no leaven shall be seen among you in all your territory for seven days, nor shall any of the meat which you sacrifice the first day at twilightremain overnight until morning.” ~Deuteronomy 16:4 …Some are trying to use the verse above to promote the false teaching that Passover is on Day 15 / Month 1… It would be hard to understand the eight days of Passover and Unleavened Bread from Deuteronomy alone. In order to rightly divide the Word of Truth we need to read and study everything that Exodus, Leviticus and Numbers has to say on the subject. The instructions in these books will help clarify the account in Deuteronomy. Deuteronomy 16:1-8
“1 Observe the month of Abib, and keep the Passover to יהוה your Elohim[on Day 14 / Month 1], for in the month of Abib יהוה your Elohim brought you out of Egypt by night. 2 Therefore you shall sacrifice the Passover to יהוהyour Elohim, from the flock and the herd, in the place where יהוה chooses to put His name. 3 You shall eat no leavened bread with it; [Then from Day 15 / Month 1 to Day 21 / Month 1 for] seven days you shall eat unleavened breadwith it, that is, the bread of affliction (for you came out of the land of Egypt in haste), that you may remember the day in which you came out of the land of Egypt [Day 21 / Month 1] all the days of your life. 4 And no leavenshall be seen among you in all your territory for seven days [Day 15 / Month 1 to Day 21 / Month 1], nor shall any of the meat which you sacrifice the first day [Day 14 / Month 1] at twilight remain overnight until morning. 5 “You may not sacrifice the Passover within any of your gates which יהוה your Elohim gives you; 6 but at the place where יהוה your Elohim chooses to make His name abide, there you shall sacrifice the Passover at twilight [beginning Day 14 / Month 1], at the going down of the sun, at the time you came out of Egypt. 7 And you shall roast and eat it in the place which יהוהyour Elohim chooses, and in the morning you shall turn and go to your tents. 8 Six days you shall eat unleavened bread [Day 15 / Month 1 to Day 20 / Month 1], and on the seventh day [Day 21 / Month 1] there shall be a sacred assembly to יהוה your Elohim. You shall do no work on it. LEFT RAMESES The children of Yisrael left Rameses on Day 15 / Month 1: Numbers 33:3 They departed from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month; on the day AFTER the Passover the children of Yisrael went out with boldness in the sight of all the Egyptians. LEFT EGYPT The children of Yisrael left the land of Egypt when they crossed the Red Sea on Day 21 / Month 1: Exodus 12:16-18 16 On the first day [Day 15 / Month 1] there shall be a set apart convocation, and on the seventh day [Day 21 / Month 1] there shall be a set apart convocation for you. No manner of work shall be done on them; but that which everyone must eat — that only may be prepared by you. 17 So you shall observe the Feast of Unleavened Bread, for on this same day [Day 21 / Month 1] I will have brought your armies out of the land of Egypt. Therefore you shall observe this day throughout your generations as an everlasting ordinance. |
