After rescuing the children of Yisrael from Mistrayim (Egypt), יהוה brought them to the mountain as He had promised Moses (Exodus 3:12). It was there on the mountain that יהוה proposed to Yisrael and Yisrael accepted by saying “all that יהוה has spoken we will do” (See Exodus 19). Yisrael would be blessed if they obeyed the voice of יהוה and they would be cursed if they disobeyed the voice of יהוה.  One of the curses for disobedience was EXILE… Well in 722 – 714 B.C.E. that’s exactly what happened to the Northern House of Yisrael…the were Scattered to the 4 Winds. It is interesting to note that the lead tribe of the Northern House of Yisrael was Ephrayim and the tribe of Ephrayim was prophesied to become a multitude of fish in the midst of the earth and to become the fullness of the nations (goyim, gentiles) way back in the book of Genesis.  יהוה rose up the prophet Hoshea to tell those FISH (The Northern House of Yisrael) that they were going to be scattered into EXILE. …But That’s Not The End Of The Story…  “And He said to them, “Follow Me, and I shall make you fishers of men.” ~Matthew 4:19  “And He said to them, “Follow Me, and I shall make you fishers of men.” ~Matthew 4:19  |
