Shema Yisrael,
Tonight (March 10th, 2016) at sunset starts the Hebrew New Year!

“This month is the head of the months to you. It shall be the first month of the year to you.” ~Exodus 12:2
Month 1 is the “Month of Abib” & The Passover / Exodus occurred in Month 1 in the “Month of Abib”

“Guard the month of Abib, and perform the Passover to YAHUAH your Elohim, for in the month of Abib YAHUAH our Elohim brought you out of Mitsrayim by night. ~Deuteronomy16:1

Abib = Kernel developing according to Exodus 9:31-32
“Now the flax and the barley were smitten, for the barley was budding in the head (abib) and the flax was flowering (gibol). But the wheat and the spelt were not smitten, for they were late crops. ~Exodus 9:31-32
The crops in the land of Yisrael are already growing quickly with temperatures reaching 30 C (86 F).

Although the “abib” barley is a confirming factor, the actual determining factor in regards to the Creator’s Calendar is the Sun and the Moonaccording to Genesis 1:14.
